Pawan Kumar, the director of successful movies like Lucia and U-Turn, has did Dhoomam movie, his first Malayalam film. The movie revolves around using tobacco and just how it influences not just the wellness of individuals yet likewise their lives in myriad methods.

The supervisor starts the movie with 2 concealed military guys questioning a Chinese spy. Then we are presented to Avinash (Fahadh Faasil) operating in a cigarette firm possessed by Sid (Roshan Mathew). Avinash understands how to market a product and Sid pushes him to market their brand of cigarettes which he does extremely effectively. However one day Avinash and his other half Diya (Aparna Balamurali) get abducted and a ransom of Rs 1 crore is demanded from them for their security. Avinash realises he has 24 hours to get the cash to save themselves and he asks Sid and Praveen for the money.
